Match report After being bowled out in the reverse fixture for 43 we had a point to prove here and, Ruwan at least, did as he hit 109 in about 15 overs; pure shock and awe for the young Baddow side to contend with, which will probably cause nightmares for years to come. We finished 208 all out after just 27 overs, meaning tea had to be delayed by 10 overs as the pizzas weren't ready. Andy contributed 27 to that score, John 14 and Robin 12, suggesting that maybe, just maybe, without Ruwan we would have been in trouble. Nevermind, with a decent total to defend, Robin and Edward restricted them to 40 off the first 10. We then waddled out after the belated tea and Ruwan (who else?) struck first ball. After that wickets fell regularly. Another for Ruwan then two for Robin, and one apiece for Alexander, Edward, Andy and Hari and couple of run outs, had them all out for 182 in the last over. If you take out Ruwan's 109, 2 wickets, 2 catches and run out it was a good all round team performance...with others losing, one more win should see us safe from relegation.
