Match report Blowing a gale on what looked a greenish pitch, we would probably have bowled if Gas could ever call right but they stuck us in. Luckily the 2s game was cancelled so we could get a side out as we were struggling for players which included the long awaited debut for the 1s for Noah. Off to a reasonably solid start, Liam was first to go after being promoted up the order. Egg and Rob then built a decent partnership as the oppo started to lose their heads somewhat. Egg finally went for 77 and then Rob for 104. Noah came in and hit a few boundaries including 1 six spanked over long on against the gale. Gas played and missed about 30 and Bainesy's gym membership is still unused as he flicked it around for constant 2s as we made a very respectable 249/5 from our 45.

Noah took the new ball in response and got one to lift sharply first ball to get a glove behind to Bainesy who was excellent with the gloves all day, ending with 4 victims. Liam got rid of the other opener with a sharp catch from NC down at fine and it looked like we were going to get through them. Gas' little brother played well for them making 68 but never got any real support. Egg and NC went for a few boundaries but both picked up 2 apiece. Goat came on and was a joke again, getting the average and economy down with his 2 wickets. Liam and Noah came back on to mop up to also finish with 2 each. They were gone for 172 so a comfortable victory in the end and back to back wins, unheard of in recent times, must be down to the captain.

Only outstanding question was the Dales. A tight vote between Gas and Robin which Robin just edged thanks to NC's casting vote.
