Match report Another horrid day in the drizzle. However this time we were a bit more sensible in only playing a 27 over game and better pitch repairs straight after the finish.
Again only the 13yr olds Fisher & Farrow got wickets but the senior bowlers also helped keep runs to a minimum with the slippery ball.
O'Riordan dropped anchor for an unbeaten half century and skipper Thorn hit the winning runs to ensure Broomfield avoided consecutive relegations, albeit with only 8 balls remaining after 12 consecutive dot balls had set the butterflies fluttering!
