Match report Despite uproar from the laziest group of men in the region, we decided to play against the elements. Rob managed to make it an entire season calling incorrectly every time and we were asked to field, that wasn't meant to happen. We actually bowled reasonable well and some decent fielding apart from the 4 bottled catches. Limiting South Weald to a well getable 165 from their 35. Egg with 3-28 and Goat taking an utter worldy of a catch.

The chase looked like a matter of time, Stirlo and Styles racing past 50 after only 7 overs. Tom went for another 20 odd score whish left Stirlo and Rorn to chip away. Boundaries were fairly frequent and then a good catch on the rope got rid of Irish all rounder for 40. 110-2 was the score when Rob went for 34 and then the standard collapse came. Dog dismissing Bainesy with a 'yessss' and then not moving, similar to High Roding last year except Bainesy didn't try and kill Bone with the bat as he trudged off. NC decided by the 30th over it was time to play for his average as he faced about 90 balls for his 12* and was well supported at the end by Baines Jnr with a nice little 7*. We fell 24 short in the end.
