We are running a World Cup sweepstake at the club. We are thinking of running this slightly differently to how you would normally expect it to run.

Envelopes with a team name in will be sold behind the bar for £5 each. Participants will be asked to sign their name on the front of the envelope, before returning it to the bar staff. This means that nobody will know who their team is, and no envelope will be opened until the winning team lift the trophy. Therefore, this means that everyone will be interested in the tournament until the very end, and that everyone has a chance of winning. (effectively!) The winner will find out after the final, which will be shown at the club, with a BBQ going on throughout the day! Come down for a few beers and a burger, and hopefully win some money!

Prizes will be decided at tonight's committee meeting.

Envelopes will be sold throughout the tournament as it does not need to be sold before it starts as no-one knows who they are playing with!

This is a great way to have a bit of fun!!
