Match report Nice start to the season. Skipper Farrow carried his woeful off the field form on to the field. Started by losing the toss on a wicket that needed emergency surgery before kick off. We were put in, Egg and Stylo getting off to a reasonable start before the latter chipped up a sitter (that we'd have probably dropped). Then everyone was pretty pathetic apart a partnership between the Cowells got us to something potentially defendable. Diesel top scoring with 44 as we ended on a limp 120 a/o.
In reply, we didn't have much luck with the ball. We dropped 3 of the 4 catches on offer which won't surprise the statisticians and were also denied a clear run out when Hasbullah was a good 18 inches short after some nice work from Dog but it wasn't to be. They got home with 8 wickets to spare. OCs away next week, improvement needed in all departments.

Goat slid in to the Dales after a comical dismissal, looking like Rain Man crossing a road, followed by a customary spanking.
