Match report A very cold and winday day on a village green in deepest Norfolk with our changing room a gazebo behind a pub car park, that sounded like it was going to take off in the gale. After winning the toss the hosts were very gracious in smacking us to all parts with some dreadful performances in the field, maybe or maybe not influenced by the drink imbibed at Overstrand the previous night.
Despite a spirited opening stand between the two Chrises, with the padded up batsmen in cars out of the wind, with Pete Thorn defiantly but vainly replacing the windswept scoreboard, defeat duly ensued as did the drinking, so it wasn't all bad.
