Broomfield Cricket Club

After the success of the 2008 Charity Day raising over £1500.00 for Cancer Research, Broomfield are hosting another fund raiser in 2009 in aid of local charity Farleigh Hospice, Sunday 12th July.

The first match will be at 10.30am between Danbury and Rettendon followed by Broomfield v Rettendon at 1.15pm, players teas and raffle etc 4.00/4.30ish and the final game Broomfield v Danbury to start immediately after with a presentation at the end hopefully around 7.15/7.30pm.

 

There will be a BBQ, tea and cake stand, Pimms Bar, ice cream van and the clubhouse bar will be open to provide refreshment during the day. Feel free to bring a picnic.

Posters will be dotted around the village and town centre to increase visitor numbers to spectate and contribute to the stalls and collection buckets. 
 

If you can help spread the word and/or volunteer to help man the stalls, provide raffle/auction prizes and/or help set up the ground on the saturday night/sunday morning please contact the Charity Day sub-committee Tony Cowell, John O'Riordan and Graeme Mason.
